The Top Rail Display & Storage Option is the base option for all ClimaCabs, meaning if no other option is chosen then it will be utilized. Our innovative approach to hanging instruments includes a hardwood rail, opposing angle wood blocks attached to pivotable String Swing hangers, and the ability to add/remove hangers.

Storage Type - Hanging

• Industry leading String Swing Display Case hangers accommodate headstocks from slim to wide and are finish safe, secure, and reliable
• Yokes pivot a full 180 degrees yielding a multitude of storage or display options with the twist of a thumb screw
• Hardwood blocks slide along the rail allowing for proper spacing. Blocks can be removed or added as needed
• Accommodates longer scale instruments, such as bass guitars and arch top

Number of Instruments Stored

How many instruments can be stored depends on a variety of factors, including body depth and angle of display. Perpendicular to the front of the ClimaCab yields the most storage, while a 45 degree angle is a popular choice which allows for seeing the tops of instruments. The number of included hangers is shown below and additional hangers are available for purchase.

The ProHang display/storage option is the Top Rail plus the addition of 100% hardwood slat wall on the back of the ClimaCab. Precision cut slat wall and spacing between the slats allows for secure storage of instruments in String Swing slat wall hangers. The addition of slat wall also changes the aesthetic properties by accenting the primary wood species.

Storage Type - Hanging

• Slat wall accents the main ClimaCab wood while providing additional storage on back wall
• All hangers are industry leading String Swing brand

Number of Instruments Stored

• How many instruments can be stored depends on a variety of factors, including body depth and angle of display from the Top Rail.
• In general, the slat wall allows for the storage of two electric guitar depth instruments on the slat wall if using the Top Rail and the instruments at an angle. If you're using the Top Rail to front face instruments, then acoustic depth instruments can be hung from the slat wall, also facing forward, for a layered appearance
• The 45 degree angle is a popular choice which allows for the instruments on the Top Rail to have comfortable space

The Neck & Bout Rest display/storage option rests the instruments on cork lined lower bout rails and cradles the necks in cork lined neck wedges. Versatile options to store various width instruments, from jumbo sized acoustics to narrow body electrics, and the ability to add or remove neck wedges as your collection changes make this a popular option.

Storage Type - Resting

• 2 1/2" hardwood rails with 15 degree, cork lined face span width of ClimaCab
• Provides adequate height above floor for clearance of strap pins
• Moveable in/out of ClimaCab to cradle a variety of lower bout sizes
• Secured in position with two neodymium magnets on the underside which keeps the rails in place once in proper location
• Cross support bars allow for front facing instruments

• Typically the Neck & Bout Rest display/storage option can store one guitar more than the Top Rail or ProHang in any given width
